Polyethylene (PE)
Characteristics: Low temperature resistance, good flexibility, strong chemical stability, not easy to react with liquids, and low processing cost. ​
Applicable scenarios: Most bottle caps packaged at room temperature, such as mineral water bottles, beverage bottles, and laundry detergent bottle caps, are currently the most widely used bottle cap materials. ​
Polypropylene (PP)
Characteristics: It has better high temperature resistance than PE, can withstand temperatures above 100 ℃ (such as boiling water), has higher hardness, and slightly better transparency. ​
Applicable scenarios: Bottle caps that require high-temperature sterilization or come into contact with hot drinks, such as sour milk bottles, hot drink cup caps, and bottle caps. Some food bottle caps are also made of PP material to ensure that harmful substances are not released at high temperatures. ​
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
Features: High transparency, strong strength, good recyclability, able to achieve "same material recycling" with PET bottle body, reducing recycling and separation costs. ​

Other auxiliary materials
Sealant pad: silica gel, butyl rubber or PE foam are mostly used to enhance the sealing between the bottle cap and the bottle mouth to prevent liquid leakage; ​
Color masterbatch: used to adjust the color of bottle caps, such as colored bottle caps for beverage bottles, which must comply with food grade standards to ensure that no harmful substances migrate. ​
